Spaces for Sport in Dunterlie

In 2020 a survey took place to identify what should happen with the Dunterlie Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) &nbsp;behind the Resource Centre.&nbsp;Funding has now been approved to refurbish half the MUGA area for football, basketball and other court sports. The other half to be capped with asphalt and improved in the future.This survey is aimed at everyone in the community. It will help plan how the new space at the MUGA can be used when it opens and provide ideas for future improvements if funding becomes available.Use the questions below to tell us about the spaces in Dunterlie used for sports at present and how provision could be improved in future.

New MUGA Design

The new MUGA will &nbsp;be asphalt &nbsp;with a non-slip paint surface and court lining for 5-aside football, basketball, hockey, and tennis.

Ideas for the rest of the area

The space beside the new MUGA will be plain asphalt. We are looking for ideas which could bring it back into use in future if funding becomes available. Your ideas should be open to the whole community and not require any significant ongoing maintenance by council staff.
